Description

Midsouth Indie Game Expo (aka MIG-X) is a show all about independently made video games, the hard-working people that make them, and the players that love playing them. Indie studios from all around the region will be showing off their latest work. The best part is that everything is open to you, the public.

History

Why?

It started with the drive back from San Antonio after Jonathan Schrack (with help from Justin Palmer and Devitt Upkins) ran an exhibitor booth at PAX:South 2016. The trio agreed that while it was great there was a video gaming expo within driving distance to go to, an 11 hour car drive was pushing it. They felt that Memphis, a hub of the Midsouth, could host a gaming expo. After some interest polling and location scouting, Midsouth Indie Game Expo was born.
